Faculty>Kathryn Goddard-Doms

Kathryn A. Goddard-Doms, Associate Professor of Biology; B.S., Gettysburg College; M.S., Bucknell University; Ph.D., University of Connecticut.

Dr. Goddard teaches biological oceanography, aquatic biology, and a Project Pericles-initiated course entitled “Watershed Research and Action” in which students teach elementary school children what they have learned about creek ecology.  Dr. Goddard and her research students including summer NSF-REU students are studying whether pollution affects the ability of fish to combat parasites.  She is developing a project to examine the effects of stream bank restoration on the fish and invertebrate community along the Ithan Creek, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
