Environmental Scholarships

 

Since the establishment of the Environmental Studies Program, Ursinus Environmental Studies majors have received several major scholarships and fellowships. These include the Morris K. Udall Undergraduate Scholarship, which has been awarded to Kate Semmens (2005), Elizabeth Blair (2005), and Carolyn Vogt (2006 and 2007), and the Environmental Protection Agency Greater Research Opportunities Fellowships for Undergraduate Environmental Study, which was awarded to Kate Semmens (2005) and Carolyn Vogt (2006). Ursinus Environmental Studies major Patricia Ciucci was honored in 2005 with a scholarship from the Society of Women Environmental Professionals and received an Honorable Mention in the Morris K. Udall Undergraduate Scholarship competition that same year. Ursinus Environmental Studies major Katy Diana received a Garden Club of America Scholarship in 2005 for her work on the Ursinus Organic Garden.
