Mitosis and the Cell Cycle- Once you use digital microscopes for teaching the cell cycle, you will never want to go back to using standard optical microscopes. In this lab, students will find stages of the cell cycle in onion and whitefish using hand selected slides that we provide. The students will digitally cut out cells that are in the various stages, digitally paste them on a page, and print out their work.
