Sherlock Bones- determine the age, sex, race, and height of individuals based on measurements of the skull, pelvis, femur, and humerus (the lab includes bones from 5 different skeletons). The lab can be done by students with very little introduction by the teacher because a very detailed lab packet comes with the lab. Teachers will need to make copies of the student data packet. Students normally do one set of skeletal remains which usually takes two periods.
