Special Thanks
The following people went out of their way to make the First Annual Celebration of Student Achievement special. Please thank them for their efforts, a few of which are highlighted below.


Blanche Allen of College Communications worked with Unlimited Graphics in Trappe on the first annual COSA program.

Barb Boris, Registrar, reserved the entire campus for COSA and identified appropriate locations for specific sessions.

Jon Brighton, Facility & Technical Systems Manager, readied the performance spaces in the Kaleidoscope.

David Carrier, class of 2006 valedictorian, conducted the COSA drawing at the end of the day.

Mike Degler and his team at Facilities Services did extensive preparations of all the venues for COSA presentations.

Scott Dube, Ron Wood, and the staff of Sodexho Food Services prepared an extraordinary celebration meal and refreshment stations.

Jess Gallagher of Media Services offered a workshop for poster presenters and printed more than a dozen posters for COSA.



Stacey Gawrys of Computing Services designed the COSA website and everything on it. She continues to update and maintain it.

David Marcheskie and students in Jay Miller’s video production class documented the day’s events.

Todd McKinney, Director of Student Activities, took pictures at many COSA events.

Kim Taylor, SERV and the Campus Safety Staff, stood at the ready for emergencies and special needs.

Many students and faculty members served as session facilitators.
